Abandoned cart sequences is when someone has filled out the first step of the two-step order form but didn't complete the payment step. This allows you to follow up directly with them with the communication of your choice.

To build your Abandoned Cart Workflow you will need to create two separate Workflows.

  1. Sale Complete Workflow
  2. Abandoned Cart Workflow

Step 1: Sale Complete Workflow

  • Workflow Trigger: 2-Step Order Form
    • Filter: Submission Type: Sale
    • Filter: In Funnel: [Enter Your Funnel}
  • First Event: Add Contact Tag: “Offer Purchased” or “Name of Your Offer Complete”
  • Second Event: Thank you message (email, sms, however you wish to communicate)
  • Enter any additional events you want to send to your new client

Step 2: Abandoned Cart Workflow

  • Workflow Trigger: 2-Step Order Form
    • Filter: Submission Type: Sale
    • Filter: In Funnel: [Enter Your Funnel}
  • First Event: Wait Step (we recommend 10-15 minutes, however long you think it would take a client to complete their payment.)
  • Second Event: IF/ELSE Step
    • Filter: Contact Details > Tags > Tags Include: “Offer Purchased”
    • “Yes” Branch leave empty
    • “No” Branch:
  • Event: Add Contact Tag: “Abandoned Cart”
  • Event: Send SMS: write a nice SMS text to send to your potential client to get them back to your funnel page to complete their purchase.

Note: we recommend creating a “Trigger Link” and including this link in your SMS.  You can also use this Trigger Link to start through the abandoned cart Workflow again.
